Guest Reader!

Kadynce - Casey read to us and he wasn't really reading but he was doing the actions.  He is kinda like a dog but he's a blue dog.  We all know that blue dogs aren't real.  He's in a suit, right guys?  He's from the Storm Chasers.

STEM Lab and SeeSaw Pictures

Joe - We are making a cast in STEM Lab.  We had to make it warm, comfy and waterproof.  Amara is wrapping the stuff on me. She is the doctor.  I was learning about bones.

Ezra - I took a picture of Henry L.  Then I had to write the words for it.  It's on SeeSaw.

Henry L. - We are taking a picture of each other.  Then I had to write his name.  I had to label stuff, too.  I was using SeeSaw.

Dakota - I was the doctor that put the cast on Andrew.  It has to be water resistant, comfortable and light.  I put the stick on first, then the bubble wrap and then put the cotton balls and tape on the top.

Owen - Sawyer was the doctor.  My arm was hurt and he was supposed to put a cast on me.  He put tape, cotton balls, and some bubble wrap and paper towels, saran wrap like you put over food on me.  The cast had to be water resistant and I couldn't get it wet.
Naika - So I put paper towels on it.  Put plastic over it.  And I put tape over it.  It's a cast.  Lorelei wanted to be the patient so I let her be it.  I am the doctor.  I did a good job.  The cast had to be comfortable.
Hunter - Kadynce and me were making a cast with tape and something and waterproof things and we did something shiny, something cotton balls and we used tape and we used more tape and we used more tape and we used something really shiny and something nice and soft.
Henry M. - We were putting on Ezra's cast.  He didn't really have a broken arm.  Mrs.Kuntz said it had to be waterproof, comfortable and light.  I had to make the cast.  Even though Ezra was kinda a shaky patient, I still had to put the cast on.
As you can see, they are learning a lot in STEM Lab as well as in the classroom!  We hope you are enjoying the SeeSaw entries that we have posted.  They are learning to be independent on those and doing quite well with it.  I continue to be amazed at how each of them is blooming and developing at their own speed and in their own way. It's fascinating for me as a teacher to watch them grow!!
