"How Lucky I Am...."

Have you heard the statement, "How lucky I am to have something that makes saying, "Good-bye" so hard"?  Winnie the Pooh said it to Piglet, his dearest friend.  And I am saying it to all of you!  As many of you saw, I was a crying mess on Tuesday, the last day of school.  I have been so blessed by your children and all of you that it's hard to say, "Good-bye."  Thank you for all your love, prayers, support and encouragement this school year.  Thank you for allowing me to spend 7 hours a day with your child.  Thank you for trusting me to lead and teach your child.  Thank you for everything!

Our last couple of weeks were most fun and filled with great memories!  I'll include some pictures here but they are also in a folder in the "Kindergarten Keepsakes" box we sent home on Monday.  Enjoy....have a great summer.....know you are loved by me but more importantly by God, our heavenly Father!

“If ever there is tomorrow when we’re not together… there is something you must always remember. You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.” - Winnie, the Pooh 💙

It's Winding Down.....

Here we are – winding down the days of kindergarten.  The littles are excited for summer but at the same time, they recognize what a wonderful year we’ve had together and are reflective as we talk about all the great experiences of kindergarten!  I’m thankful for them and I’m thankful for you, too!

Just a few reminders….

Everyone needs a cold lunch on Thursday as we will be going with our chapel buddies to Lauritzen Gardens.

The Moritz family purchased the kindergarten free-dress day at the Gala and Hayden would like for that to be on Friday, May 11th.  Thanks, Hayden, Brian and Bekka!!

Letter People Day is next Tuesday, May 15th!!  Come dressed as your favorite Letter Person!  The information was sent home along with the calendar of remaining events.

A baseball theme at Montclair will be on Thursday, May 17th…..kiddos may wear a baseball top and appropriate bottoms (tennis shoes please)…….to thank us for coming this school year, they will serve us hot dogs/hamburgers for lunch!

Friday, May 18th – Portal Schoolhouse/Sautter House tour and then school there all day (bring a cold lunch). SCHOOL UNIFORM PLEASE that day (NOT spirit wear)

We are enjoying learning about the early Christian church this week.  We’ve talked a lot about the struggles and persecution but also the joys of sharing the good news of Jesus that they had as well.

We are winding up our last Letterbook!  In Math, we are finishing up measuring and a bit of geometry as well as working on number writing to 30.  On Friday, the CHS 7th graders will be here to share some plays with us.  There’s so much going on but it’s all fun and great memories for us all!
