Here we are – winding down
the days of kindergarten. The littles
are excited for summer but at the same time, they recognize what a wonderful
year we’ve had together and are reflective as we talk about all the great
experiences of kindergarten! I’m thankful
for them and I’m thankful for you, too!
Just a few reminders….
Everyone needs a cold lunch
on Thursday as we will be going with our chapel buddies to Lauritzen Gardens.
The Moritz family purchased
the kindergarten free-dress day at the Gala and Hayden would like for that to
be on Friday, May 11th.
Thanks, Hayden, Brian and Bekka!!
Letter People Day is next Tuesday, May 15th!! Come dressed as your favorite Letter
Person! The information was sent home
along with the calendar of remaining events.
A baseball theme at Montclair
will be on Thursday, May 17th…..kiddos may wear a baseball top and
appropriate bottoms (tennis shoes please)…….to thank us for coming this school year,
they will serve us hot dogs/hamburgers for lunch!
Friday, May 18th –
Portal Schoolhouse/Sautter House tour and then school there all day (bring a
cold lunch). SCHOOL UNIFORM PLEASE that day (NOT spirit wear)
We are enjoying learning
about the early Christian church this week.
We’ve talked a lot about the struggles and persecution but also the joys
of sharing the good news of Jesus that they had as well.
We are winding up our last
Letterbook! In Math, we are finishing up
measuring and a bit of geometry as well as working on number writing to
30. On Friday, the CHS 7th
graders will be here to share some plays with us. There’s so much going on but it’s all fun and
great memories for us all!
