Where Is Spring?!

We are so anxious for warm weather and spring but the little ones sure did love the snow today!  We talked about how Jesus washes us white as snow through forgiveness of our sins.  They can make many things in their life relative to Bible lessons and love to draw parallels of how God is working now and how He worked in the Bible, too!!  They are sure learning a lot!

We are busy learning our songs for the school musical.  It's about the parable of the Good Samaritan which is also our Bible story this week.  We continue to learn through our Lenten devotions as well.

We read, "The Pet Hospital" in small groups today and everyone did a fantastic job!!  It's so wonderful to watch these little ones bloom and grow!  We are having some fun with comparing of numbers by playing "War"!  These little ones are also loving my 60+ piece puzzles!! 

We now have a stage in our classroom...complete with 2 microphones and a little keyboard.  They LOVE to get on the stage and read stories or sing songs!

If you didn't read last week's news, please be sure to do so.  It has an opportunity for our next Montclair visit.  Speaking of our next visit, I will need just 2 or 3 more people to help with our Dr.Seuss activities next week at Montclair (10 AM to 11:15ish AM).  Please email me if you can help lead an activity during that time.

Teagan will be our Scientist this week and Miles will be our Star Student.  As your child probably has mentioned, the ParaOlympics begin on Friday which is Miles' birthday!  We are looking forward to watching a bit of those, too!
